680 Unofficial Score!! Questions about AWA & IR??

Just took my first GMAT today and got an unofficial score of 680!!! To be exact, my score for Quantitative was 46 and 38 for Verbal.

That being said, I feel okay about my IR score but totally unsure about the AWA. I don't feel like I completely stunk up AWA but at the same time know I probably didn't blow anyone out the water. Can my AWA or IR score hurt or help my chances of getting into a certain program? Also, being that I am content with a 680, I would like to avoid having to re-take it because of a mediocre score in AWA and/or IR. Should I accept whatever scores I get in those sections or make my decision based on these scores.

Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Can my AWA or IR score hurt or help my chances of getting into a certain program?

1. AWA - this score is basically pass/fail. If you get a 4.5+, you're okay.

2. IR - The IR scores aren't going to mean much in this year's admissions since it's new and there are still a lot of valid scores prior to June 2012 that don't even have the IR component.
