Best business schools for MBA in Tech. / Business Stratategy

I have recently started considering an MBA. I have a strong technical background (PhD) in Microelectronics and a proven career in IC design. My interests lie in strategic management in technology domain. I would really appreciate if experts can provide me some hints on what to pursue. I am trying to read forums as much as possible, but there is a lot if information to go through. May I please also get some advise on the best business schools (world over - location not important) for these kind of MBA programs? Also, in terms of program duration, which MBA program is more valued by the prospective employers, 1 year, or 2 year? Thanks in advance for the help, and my apologies if some of the questions sound silly!
