Part time MBA at Haas

by ftorpt » Tue Nov 06, 2012 11:28 am
Hello all

I am currently in the process of evaluating schools to pursue a part time MBA program and would be grateful, if you could help me gain some insight on my chances at Haas and provide feedback on what could be improved to make my application stronger. I have provided a brief synopsis of my background and would be glad to provide more details.

Age: 32
Education: Masters in mechanical engineering (3.2 GPA)
GMAT: Attempt 1: 620(Q45, V31) Attempt 2: 630(Q44,V32)
Work exp: Design engineer for five years at Caterpillar, lead CAE engineer for the last years at a powersports industry
Extra curricular: Student body treasurer of mech engg assn during undergrad and training for a marathon.

My future goals are to stay in the engineering industry, working towards an engg. manager role. My background is in thermal sciences, so I am shooting for the electronics industry

Thanks for the help and looking forward to hearing from you.

I'll double on that good sir.
