I'm applying for a Masters in Accountancy at San Diego State University, Fall 2013. Their average GMAT score is 600.
I recently took the GMAT and was elated to score a 700; it's better than any of my practice scores. Official scores just came in; I got a 6 on the essay and a 2 on the IR.
I'm really torn. I'm incredibly happy with my 700 and essay score, especially considering my intended school's average GMAT is 600. But that 2 on the IR is such an abomination. I was getting 4s on the practice test.
Does anyone know how much IR counts? Is it worth retaking for the IR, knowing that most likely my 700 won't improve? I appreciate any insight on the topic.
