Dear Raptor911,

The best way to gauge whether you are a competitive applicant to a school is to view the class profile and see how you measure up. If you are at or above the average GMAT score and GPA, then you are in a better position than if you are below the averages. With regards to work experience, it is not just the quantity but what you have done in that time. Have you progressed in responsibility? Since you are an engineer from India, you have one of the most common profiles in the global MBA applicant pool. It will be important for you to distinguish yourself in your application. Lastly, you might try to find information specific to those schools on what they value in their MBA candidates and talk to some alumni to determine what would be important for you to highlight in your application.

Best of luck,
Lisa
