India Geo:Post MBA Salary

Hi,
I am just curious as to how salary and pay turn out to be after MBA in India. Any body from India having some idea about it can enlighten ?

These are general empirical rules in salaries which we have observed over the last 3 years and there a many exception scenarios for these, but just to give you a generic idea:

1) Salaries for professionals in work exp 2-7 years range from 10-20 lakhs per annum (INR) for tier 1 and 2 B-schools
2) Mean mostly revolves around 15-17 for tier 1 B-schools and 12-14 for tier 2 ones.
3) Top-notch consulting firms pay around 22+, so do I-Banks, tier-2 consults pay around 13-15
4) Companies that come with Leadership program tend to pay lower (exceptions Aditya Birla which pays better)
