I gave my exam yesterday, very disappointed with the result. I got 680(Q49, V34). I ran out of time in verbal, so just selected random answers to last 9-10 questions. I am planning to give it again in one month. Can anyone please help me to improve my verbal score. Even in the practice exams i couldn't score more than 39, but my overall score used to be 710-720. But in the final exam i just couldn't manage my time in verbal, though i finished 3 minutes early in quant. I want to score 42-45 in verbal and overall atleast 730. please help

- Find another resource for verbal strategies. By this, I'm not suggesting that your current resource is deficient. I'm suggesting that a new resource might have a new way of looking at the Verbal section that's more in line with your learning style.
- Keep practicing (BTG is a great site for practice questions and thorough solutions).
- Work on your time management. If you're interested, we have a free video on this topic: https://www.gmatprepnow.com/module/gener ... es?id=1244

Read the time management article by Stacey Koprince on ManhattanGmat website.
That should help you.
Also, you might want to consider e-gmat course. Heard rave reviews.. Though I am yet to experience that course.

That you scored 34 in Verbal despite randomly guessing the last 9-10 questions makes me believe that your accuracy is quite good. If you increase your speed, you should be able to score 42-43 quite easily with the same accuracy.
You should probably try to get hold of a few question banks.
