subject verb confusion

A)The sweater and skirt each have their own hanger.

B)The sweater and skirt each has their own hanger.

which between above 2 is correct and why?

The answer would be the second sentence and the reason for that would be that each is a singular pronoun.

Plus each is the subject here.

I think it should be this as if you replace sweater and skirt by they,
it would be
They each have their own hanger.
