Hi,

I think you have a very strong profile and that you'd be competitive at a lot of top 10 programs. Your GMAT is right on the cusp there, but I think your professional experience and teaching fellowship could make up for it. The only thing about your profile is that is somewhat all over the place: TATA motors, tech start-up, and teaching to consulting? You'll have to weave together a strong narrative to make it work, because it's not very logical!

It's ok that your role in your startup isnt official - - it's a great story and shows entrepreneurial nature and leadership. Just list it on your resume in a section called 'entrepreneurship'.

Some additional programs you could consider are Tuck, UC Berkeley, London Business School, INSEAD.

Good luck!

Hi Mili,

Thanks for the reply.

Even I am brainstorming how to connect my story. Anyway our start up is not just a .com, we offer design solutions for automotive designs. We also offer product development and project management consulting to the teams to streamline the manufacturing processes and also to make the projects cost effective.

I joined TFI because I have personally been through what the students i am teaching are going through and I know how education can transform their lives. I don't know how to connect this to the story but I hope I will come up with something good. :)

I'm sure you will - - just think about why you've made the transitions you've made and what you care about -- somewhere in there is a strong story, I'm sure!
