hi all
I planned to take my GMAT end of Sept and I am struggling with RC.
just get a MGMAT and get
Q43 V20
on the verbal part, here is my breakdown
SC 67% ( 5 wrong among 15)
CR 67% ( 4 wrong among 14)
and RC ( 0/12!!!)

I do not know how to do and am really scared for the real GMAT.
regarding the material I have :
MGMAT books
OG Verbal Review
OG 13
GMAT Verbal book ( KAPLAN)

I am not a native english

for the next month I planned to follow the BTG 60 study plan and go through GMAT verbal book from KAPLAN. and practicing on MGMAT CAT and G13
but if you have some tips or strategies to share with me in order to improve efficiently, I will be really grateful .....

Please help, I am really disappointed.

thank you so much

Hi Lilouelle, Though I never had any issue with RC, I can understand your pain.

Here is my suggestion:

1. Firlsy, go to the link below and reivew ALL the videos covering reading comprehension

https://www.manhattangmat.com/thursdays-with-ron.cfm

This will really help you get the overview of the RC section.

2. then, read the post at the link below.

https://www.beatthegmat.com/ways-to-bbla ... 90808.html

After you complete the two steps, let me know whether they have helped a little..

The topic of the thread says you got 0/12. I'm assuming that's on IR? If so, I wouldn't stress much about that. I got an 8 (highest score) on the GMATPrep IR section, and 3/12 on the MGMAT IR section.

hi
I did some OG questions with Kaplan Verbal book and it is working.
I completely changed the way of reading the passage focusing on the first sentence of each paragraph and last ones.
carefully connecting the dots to get the global picture and it is working.
I review also the video thrusday with RON on RC.
will do a gmatprep test this weekend and let u know.

another big issue I have is my timing.
I did quant and Verbal on MGMAT and left 25mn for both....I am stressed by this as for difficult questions such as Quant combinatorial or word problems for ex, I do not take the time to really focused on it because I still have the time limit of 2mn in my head....it is blocking me......
how can you help please.

thanks
lilouelle
