Disappointing GMAT score 620

by weven » Tue May 22, 2012 4:45 pm
Hi everyone, I took the MGMAT prep course and was severely disappointed with my actual GMAT score today 620 (Q39, V36)

I had been timing myself with AWA to mimic real test conditions and my previous exams were (first time taking exams and timed):

MGMAT CAT 6 (Q44, V38)
MGMAT CAT 5 (Q44, V38)
MGMAT CAT 4 (Q44, V35)
GMAT PREP 2 (Q44, V36)

I had heard that the MGMAT quant is supposedly harder than the GMAT so I'm quite disappointed with my performance today. Are there any suggestions for when I retake the exam? Kind of lost as to what to do since it is so far off from my previous scores. I would like to apply this fall for MBA programs but now my target schools are unattainable with this score.

Thanks.

Just wanted to update this and proudly say that I was able to Beat the Gmat today. Lots of hard work and practice but I managed:

GMAT 680
Q: 47 (73%)
V: 36 (79%)

This site has helped a lot and wanted to encourage others to keep working hard.
