How long does it take to get GMAT Scores?

I'm thinking of applying to Columbia Early Decision, with a deadline of October 3.

What's the absolute latest that I could take the GMAT and still self report my scores? Could I take it on 10/2? 9/24?

You can apply, submit your unofficial scores and have your scores sent to the school.

From the schools website:

All applicants must submit a self-reported GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) or GRE (Graduate Record Examination) score (scores are valid for 5 years). Scores must be valid on the date of application submission.

If admitted, you must submit an official GMAT or GRE score. Columbia Business School's GMAC code is QF8-N6-36 and its GRE code is 6442. The Admissions Committee will consider only your highest score when reviewing your application and will not combine subscores from multiple exams into a single composite score.

thanks. Though i saw that and was wondering about the awa and integrated reasoning scores, which they ask for, even when self reporting. I've never taken the gmat so my assumption is that AWA and Integrated Reasoning scores I wont know the day of the test, correct? If so, when would i get these scores?

Think that it's alright to self report only verbal/quant and then submit the unofficial report after the deadline?
