I could do it just by applyng the logic that if I have the value of f(x) i can find out the value of both f(x-1) and f(x+1).

So if have f(3), i can find out f(4) in one step and if i have f(6) i can find out f(4) in two steps.

The answer is D.

Yeah, that's the way I thought about it. I think that's the only approach. Thanks, though.
