Manifestations are grouped into two categories: Rise of four items and victory of one item

1) Rise of A, Rise of B, Rise of C, Rise of D
2) Victory of X

The first list contains four items. To show the last item in the list you need to use 'and'.

.... rise of A,B,C, and D, and victory of ...

without an 'and' before D, all five items become one long list and the sentence would read

.... rise of A,B,C,D, and victory of .. >> implies rise of victory of which is not correct.
