Hello All,
I am about to start my applications. I have got 700 in GMAT (Q:49, V:35, AWA:5 and IR:8). I had earlier got 640 in GMAT. I have 4+ years of experience with 1 year in USA and other 3 years in India. I also have six sigma certification and PMI certification. I have completed MS in electrical engineering from top 20 school in USA with GPA of 3.4. My undergrad GPA was 3.8. I would like to know schools suitable for my applications. I feel my GMAT score is in the range of almost all schools. Also, my grades are good, I have good extra-curricular/leadership experience and also have other certifications.
One question: Due to health injury, I am currently working in academics as a faculty member. I am planning to explain this scenario in separate essay. Apart from this, I have 4 years of industrial experience. How will the current job in academics affect my applications?
I feel I can go for 8 schools, and target 4-5 in top list. This is tentative list. Please guide me regarding the school selection.

2) Yale
3) Cornell
4) Columbia
5) Texas austin
6) UIUC
7) Georgia Tech
8) University of Washington (Foster),
9) stern school
Please let me know some safe schools, which are having decent rankings.
