10 yrs of WE

My company sponsors full time mba programs for ppl with long experience. I have WE of 10 yrs. What are the schools who are favorable to those with longer WE or full sponsorship? Also, what are the points I should emphasize when writing essays?

Schools like Haas and Tuck look favorably on older applicants.

Definitely point out your company's sponsorship of you (and ask your recommenders to highlight this in the rec. and the reasons why you were selected (beyond merely having been there along time).

Also, as with any older applicant, emphasize commensurate accomplishments, responsibilities, perspectives, etc. that should accompany your greater experience.

Nobody can tell you what to emphasize in your essays without knowing more about your specific accomplishments and formative experiences.

But in terms of schools--MIT, Duke and Darden are also open to older students in my experience. MIT also has a one year Leadership Fellows program that is executive--it's a great program. Also, look at some of the top European programs as well, as they are age friendlier.

One general thing that you should remember while writing your essays is "the necessity of MBA at this stage". It should not come across as if you woke up this year and applied. This is important especially for older applicants.
