- GMAT Score:450
I don't want to sound cynical, or come across as entitled, but how does a GMAT score equate to EMBA success? I graduated with a BS in Business Admin/International Business and have had a solid track record of success since. I applied for an EMBA program, and now have taken the GMAT (both old, and next-gen) and received the same score both times. That score is a 450.
Now, I have never understood tests. I received a 20/36 on the ACT, but then got a 1400/1600 on the SAT (taken within 2 weeks of each other). Where is the logic there? Plus, it wasn't an indicator of success.
Between the 2 tests my Quant score rose significantly, while verbal stayed the same. I'm still waiting for my official results before I get too frustrated. What I am hoping for is that I will be admitted with the fall incoming class. This is a major life goal of mine, and I don't want to earn it at a for-profit or online school. I want to go bricks 'n mortar like I've always hoped and dreamed for.
Any advice? The final-final deadline is July 10.
