Kellogg part time application

Hello

I was wondering, if you could help me evaluate my profile. I am planning to apply to Kellogg for their weekend part time MBA program and the following are my credentials

Age: 32
GMAT: Attempt 1: 620 Attempt 2: 630
Masters GPA: 3.2
Work experience: Mechanical engineer, with over six years of experience. I spent the first two years working for a fortune 50 company through a consultant and then became a full time in the same organization. I am currently working for a midwestern engineering company as the lead engineer for the past year and half. Also, I was wondering, if I should retake the GMAT and would that have a negative effect on my application. I am sure that I can gain 40-50 point at the least. Looking forward to hearing from you.

It's possible that your 630 GMAT will be enough for the Kellogg part time program for several reasons. Firstly, Part time programs are well aware that you are full-time focused on your career and therefore do not have perhaps the same amount of time to commit to studying for the test. Additionally, the part time programs in general are more interested in what you bring to the table from your current job, and it sounds like you have been well regarded in your work, with promotions and increasing responsibilities. Finally, the part time programs are not required to report their GMAT stats to the rankings boards, so they can be more "forgiving" of things like GPA and test scores. The Kellogg full time program carries the burden of the rankings for Kellogg, so if you were applying to their full time program, you might get extra brownie points for a higher GMAT, but in your case you simply need to demonstrate aptitude for the academics, which you do with your WE, your GPA in a difficult major and your GMAT score, which is a good score. I was not aware of this. However, if the part-time programs I'm looking at, such as booth, haas, kellog, etc. have their GMAT scores on the rankings, does that mean they report all such scores?
