Hello,
my stats in a very abbreviated version:
Undergraduate Degree from Pace- 3.1 GPA- Finance major. Transfer after 2 years at local community college (2.9 GPA) had a lousy grade from one TV production class which brought down the overall average
5 years work exp at 2 NYC based commercial banks front office credit focused work. 3 promotions and moving towards a managerial role.
GMAT- 400 in 2008 (did not study, big mistake) I have been studying for the last 3 months and hope to take the GMAT again in late summer.. aiming for 600 plus..
I'd like to apply for spring 2013 part time programs at NYU and Baruch. Preference would be NYU. I will also have recommendation letters from direct supervisors whom are Stern alumns.
What score do I need on the GMAT to be competitive ? Any other words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
