MBA after 8 yrs of work experience

Hello,
I am Indian/F/28 working in Bangalore for Networking MNC and have 7+ years of work experience. I want to pursue MBA for Career Boost. My preference is to pursue MBA in top 15 US colleges - Stern, Sloan, McCombs etc.
1. Considering age and number of years of work experience, is it wise to choose Full Time or Executive MBA?
2. For EMBA, is it required to have job in USA to get admission ?

My question for you is: How do you define "career boost?" Programs - full time or executive - will want to know the specific ways in which your career can benefit from an MBA. In terms of your post-MBA goals, paint a picture that cohesively ties together your past, present, and future. Demonstrate to the admissions committees that your desired career path necessitates an MBA. Identify the specific gaps that stand between you and your short- and long-term goals (knowledge, skills, experiences, network, etc.) and show how business school would directly address those gaps.

Your career experience would likely lend itself to an executive program, and admissions tend to be slightly more favorable for those programs. Of course, that does not preclude you from full-time programs.

For your executive question: I'm not sure if there are any rules about if your job needs to be in the US. However, think of the logistics of flying to a US campus from India every other week! That does not seem like an ideal setup.
