In my hovering around the admission consultants sites, I ran into this video for engineers applying to top MBA. Does anyone find their "admission drivers" approach of any real value? it sounds way too artificial. That's not how it works in real life, real life is not numbers and matrixes... and the admission committee work is way more art than science.
After I watched it I got totally nervous (I'm an engineer, not an admission scientist) than I thought why bother it's not how it works, then I decided to post here and see who is with me.
Am I missing something?

I didn't watch the entire video, but I think you shouldn't worry about it. That's what admission consultants do, they turn it into exact science. The lesson for you is probably that you have to be yourself and present your candidacy in the strongest way possible, but also do your research to get closely familiar with the schools you are applying to so you know what they are looking for.

Thanks! I agree.
But still it made me think I have a lot to improve.

OK, there is nothing wrong with trying to improve yourself and your candidacy. The improvement will be good for you even if you don't get in eventually.

Don't get nervous, just take what you can from this video and use it in your application. Try to understand which qualities does your intended b-school look for in a candidate and try to demonstrate these qualities.
