Hello Madam,

I am an Indian, 29 years of age. I have an average academic bacground-B.A.-60%, Intermediate-59% and High School-55%. I have been wkg as an officer with a nationalised bank for 3 yrs. I wish to pursue MBA after taking GMAT. I want to know if I can hope to get into a decent B-school in US considering my profile? Is 16 yrs of formal education necessary for getting into decent B-schools? Can a good GMAT score make up for my avg academic background? Which colleges/universities should I target?

It sounds like you have a lot of research to do before you make any decisions. I am sure there is a good school out there for you. You should take the GMAT as that will be another data point. Then you can start to research schools online. Think about what you want from a school and try to find the ones that are a good fit for your goals.
