The base of triangle AEF 4/3 is of w, the width of rectangle ABCD. What is the area of triangle AEF in terms of w ?

AF = (4/3)w
Area of the triangle AEF
= 1/2*base*height
= 1/2 *(4/3)w * w
= (2/3)w^2

Here base is 4w/3 and height is w
so the area of triangle AEF
