Hello,

I think everyone is aware of how daunting the gmat sentence correction could be! i have tried multiple ways of tackling the problems. i invested in aristotle guide and mgmat sentence correction. but i when i look at the questions in its totality, i feel i am back at square one. i am very comfortable with English, have no real problem grasping the concepts. i read those books and realize its not very complicated, but its not about applying the rules i am having trouble with.
i believe the gmat is trying to test whether we can recognize what the error is and then tackle it. i feel reading and rote memorizing the rules from the mgmat guide has turned out to be redundant and i am not gaining much from it.
i would be grateful if someone could give me some unconventional methods besides doing more problems and reviewing errors. i want to learn about how i can apply what i have learnt so far and improvise on that.
is anyone else going through this problem, reading the rules, books etc and still not seeing any massive improvement in the performance?

looking forward to your reply.
