Reciprocal of a/b = 1/(a/b) = b/a

Hence, ratio of a/b to b/a = (a/b)/(b/a) = (a*a)/(b*b) = a²/b²

Ratio of any non-zero number to its reciprocal is always 1.

Here, a/b is a non-zero quantity.
Reciprocal of a/b = 1/(a/b) = b/a

Hence, ratio of a/b to b/a = (a/b)/(b/a) = 1

how is it 1?

(a/b)/(b/a) = a^2/b,isn't it?
