I just took the GMAT but I didn't do well as I wanted to do. I performed well in Quant on test day (Q45) but I failed in verbal (V25). It seems like I am missing something critical while studying because I am putting in the time but the results aren't translating in a higher score. I went through all the OG12 problems. Below are the resources which I have used for verbal.

SC: Manhattan SC guide
RC: Manhattan RC guide
CR: Powerscore bible.

prep test Scores:
Manhattan - 540
GMAT 1st try - 530
GMAT 2nd try - 560

Please let me know how can I improve my verbal score.

I would consider a tutor to help you focus on your weaknesses and bring the scores up. Most people focus their study time on doing problems and checking answers. A more effective method is to spend the majority of the time reviewing questions, identifying patterns in content and sentence structure and analyzing each answer, not just the correct one, to see how the GMAT writes questions. Another effective use of study time is to create a study sheet that formalizes your approach to questions and therefore makes each question a part of a larger topic instead of something to be solved all by itelf.
