minute hand of a properly operating clock, indicated by the
figure above, will turn through how many degrees?
(A) 0
(B) 1,200
(C) 2,160
(D) 4,320
(E) 8,640

Minute hand spins around the clock 12 times. Each circle is 360 degrees.

So 360*12 = 4320

It's asking for the MINUTE HAND...which travels 360 degrees EACH HOUR...Just multiply the 360 by 12 hours

4,320 degrees
