Is this correct approach towards Verbal

by jaijune » Sat Apr 28, 2012 9:14 pm
Hi GMAT gurus,
I am good at Maths.By practice I can improve my level.
But I am very poor at English, unable to understand the passage first, before answering.Even sentence correction also.
My approach :
1.Reading 2 Science/Politics articles every day from US news papers and analysing sentence formation and learning all the words.
Revising them daily.
2.Practicing A grammar book daily.
I felt now a days I have improved my level of understanding.
Am I in right way?
Please suggest.

Reading Science/Politics articles from US news papers, and practicing from grammar books is great but maynot be the best way for a short-term GMAT preparation plan.

I would suggest you continue with it but also take a GMATPrep test to check where you stand. Who knows? You maybe pleasantly surprised :)
