Beat The GMAT - 720! (Q47 V41)

I just took the GMAT for the first time today and scored a 720 (95th%)!

Quant - 47 (81%)
Verbal - 41 (93%)

My goal was a 700 so I am very pleased with my score. I took the Manhattan Online course and followed it very strictly. My test was 2 weeks after the course. I would strongly recommend Manhattan for anyone who is looking into prep classes. The quality of the instructors and material is top notch. Below are my practice scores for reference.

February - GMAT Prep - 500 (took it over 3 days, before any studying)
March 15th - MGMAT Cat - 650 (Q45 V34) - Took after 2nd week of course
April 19th - MGMAT Cat - 640 (Q42 V35) - Halfway through course
May 17th - MGMAT Cat - 660 (Q44 V37) - Took after final week of course
May 24th - GMAT Prep - 730 (Q48 V42)
May 29th - GMAT - 720 (Q47 V41)

The Manahattan CAT's are definitley more difficult than the GMAT Prep tests and really helped me prepare for the real thing. There were times during the test that I though some of the questions seemed "too easy" to be 700-800 level compared to the Manhattan tests.

My biggest piece of advice (besides signing up with Manhattan) is to be dedicated. I studied every day (except Fridays) since mid-March and really focused on understanding the concepts. Some other good advice I recieved was to relax the week before. I hardly did any studying Monday and Tuesday and didn't even think about the GMAT yesterday. Finally, some other great advice I recieved was to relax and remember to BREATHE during the test.

wait, how was the math section? did you see alot of percent problems and probability or group set problems? just wondering since your math score is pretty high...

what would you suggest to focus on for the math section? how was the sentence correction? is it GMATPREP reflective of sentence correction?

I would say the test was very similar to the GMAT Prep test I took this past weekend. Quant was very number properties focused. Know your rules regarding primes, roots, etc. After that, there were quite a few inqualities as well. Only a couple of statistics/sets problems, mainly around mean/median.

SC felt just like the GMAT Prep. Mostly verb tense/sub-agreement, pronouns and modifiers. Not too many idioms.

Quant:
MGMAT probs are very good but bit wordy and the MGMAT CATs also have them ,so I am having a time crunch there which is unlike to GMAT prep. Did you feel the same compared to real GMAT? what would you advise should i be worried upon.

Could u please tell regarding the PS and DS , how familair (in sense to difficulty)was yrs with respect to Quants in OG 11 (last 50, supposedly the tougher ones)
