Hi. I'm an Indian applicant and from what I know, most schools do not want you to convert your scores into GPA. Columbia is one school which actually states that you should convert.

Anyways, I think if you do decide to convert, it is best to use the World Education Service (WES). Google is your friend.

The best policy is to contact the school and ask them about it.

Thanks for the reply.

How do they get their average GPA then (calculate it themselves)?

You kind of have to convert your marks into a GPA, otherwise you don't know whether or not you meet the requirements..

Right?
