2 disappointing attempts-Pl help

I have appeared for GMAT twice.
1st attempt with 1 month prep- 510(48Q,12V)
For 2nd attempt I went for coaching with Kaplan.
Prepared for 3 months.I was getting above 650 in all my kaptests.
still on test day-18th April I end up with 530(49Q,14V)

I am thinking of applying with same score for 2nd tier universities as I have lost hope.

Could anyone guide as if I retake I need to prepare for IR which is again extra work considering
my hectic office job.

nhotwani..sorry for that buddy.. But r u in a hurry? From ur quants score, it seems that you can do great at verbal if you give yourself fair amount of time. Verbal section can be if you have patience and confidence to crack it. You need to go slowly if you want significant improvement in verbal. I believe you can score much higher..

Ya am in a bit hurry..want to apply for Jan Intake.
Verbal score was improved till 27 in Mock tests but on test day it went drastically low.
Am really confused as how much big difference will it make to go with 2nd tier universities!

nhotwani...you need to get some advice of the admission consultants then.. But my 2 cents: An MBA means a lot and getting it from the school of your choice will make your journey better. With a 510, you will have really very limited scope. BTW, Which schools are you aiming to get into?
