We can approach in two ways:

Approach 1) we require WILL (not WOULD) as there is no conditions in this sentence; drop B/D/E. Between A and C - in C we have a run-on sentence (we have "airline executives are convinced,...,many travelers will ..."). The two clauses in bold are not connected properly: WE NEED 'THAT' in between).

Approach 2) THAT sould come before "JUST AS...MACHINES". Lets see simpler example to understand: "HE IS CONVINCED THAT HIS FRIEND WILL HELP HIM in this year as well". We can make some additions in this sentence: "HE IS CONVINCED THAT, as in last year, HIS FRIEND WILL HELP HIM in this year as well". We can drop B/D and C (for missing THAT); We can drop E using "THE NUMBER....ARE/IS GROWING".

'Would' is used for conditional sentences. If X happened, Y would happen. If X happens Y will happen. Would also comes along with past tense. Here in the sentence we are using present tense so 'will' is preferred.
