Actually it has not been long since i started working for my first job.I have done my electrical engineering from ggsipu university, india with 74% and have started working for kpit cummins where i design electrical layouts for cummins power. I am quite passionate of technical stuff but want to enter the bigger picture in this industry and want to do MBA from a good institution after spending some time at work.
Extra curricular activities includes photography, cooking and involvement with a NGO through my company.
I have not started preparing for GMAT till now.
I know its early but i want the best, so looking at my profile, please suggest how should i go with building my profile and scoring for GMAT, so that i end up in a good B-school.

Thanks for your post. It's great that you are thinking about an MBA so early in your career. Often times many applicants to bschool don't really think much about it until they are ready to apply - which can be okay, unless they have weak areas they need to address.

Given the information you've shared, it sounds like you're off to a good start. I strongly suggest getting the GMAT out of the way sooner rather than later (keep in mind that scores are good for 5 years). I would also suggest that you look for leadership opportunities. If those types of opportunities don't exist in your job, then look for ways to gain leadership experience outside of the office. It sounds like you have a few hobbies, but perhaps only one formal activity outside of work - your involvement in the NGO. Perhaps you can step up your role and gain some solid leadership skills over the next couple of years.

My other advice is to keep a nice balance between work on your personal life. Having activities and balancing work and play (and volunteer work) is a great way to demonstrate to adcoms that you are likely to be involved outside of the classroom and therefore a well rounded student.
