Study period before taking the test

What time period do you set aside to study for the test?

Im thinking 2 months should be sufficient, thats studying everyday just about.

Depends...how long has it been since you were in school? Are you more quant or verbal oriented? I've been out of school a while and was never very strong in math, so I've been studying for about twice that period and am finally starting to feel ready to take the test. But that's not how it is for everyone. The best thing you can do is take a practice test to get a diagnosis, figure out how many points you want to improve, and then figure out how long that's going to take. Also it depends what you mean by studying every day--is it a half hour each day or three hours?

I've heard around the blogosphere that you should anticipate spending about 100 hours prepping for your test. Definitely not for everyone, but it's a good rule of thumb to start with.

Im similar to you, been out of school for awhile and my math isn't the greatest.

As much time as I can after working hr's, Im guessing it'll be 2-3 hrs depending..

Ok well i'll keep that in mind.
