Help for strategy for the final month of preperation !

I started my preperation around the 10th of April,2008, and most of my preparation has been directed towards the IMS postal material. Though IMS suggests 12 weeks for the material, my run through the material will end by the end of May after which I plan to take about 5 adaptive tests before I go back to revising my weak areas.

In addition to the IMS material I have the Kaplan Premier Program which I will try and finish by the end of May.

I must mention that out of the areas tested, my quant. is the weaker one so I will try and concentrate on that.

Please be kind enough to give your inputs as to how I could optimize my strategy for the month and ten days I have got left ( I plan to appear for my GMAT around the 10th of July,2008 ).

What additional materials are desirable...
How much time do you think is sufficient for preparation in terms of months and number of hours per day...

Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Don't just do one test after the other. You need to work on weak areas BETWEEN tests. Review your results from each test, then practice untimed questions for weak areas. Work on test strategy. When you're seeing improvement in those weak areas, take another practice test.

To figure out a study program, it is important to know where you are and where you need to go. Moving your score from 500 to 550 will take a lot less studying then 700 to 750, for instance. So... you should figure out:

1) Current score
2) Goal score
3) Weak areas

Do some studying, take another practice test... see by how much your score increased. This should give you an idea of how much studying is necessary to get from point A to point B.

I studied 10 hours a week for two months to get a 750, so it is possible to do well with a shorter amount of study time. However, I had gotten a 1500 on the SAT and was an SAT tutor for several years, so my case was not typical.
