Undergrad To MBA

by JaenVilla » Tue Mar 27, 2012 1:05 pm
Like a few others on here I am new to this site. I am also currently an undergrad. However, I am considering an MBA and am hopeful of attending Columbia or Baruch(I and my wife both live in the NYC area)and am on here seeking advice. As per me, I've yet to take the GMAT but have a solid 3.91 GPA. I am majoring in General Management from a no name private school and have another year before putting in any applications. The reason I am considering going straight into an MBA is that after high school I went into the military. After my time was up I moved in with my then fiance and started college. I felt that fear that many do when you've been away from school for so long but thus far I've been doing well. I do not want to lose my edge by going back to work and then re-applying but it seems that that is what some schools want. I've heard that CBS is open to undergrads but have not been able to find much on Zicklin. I was hoping that I could get some insight from Baruch students, veterans who used their GIBill for undergrad (how they're paying fro grad?), and anyone else who might have some advice and guidance for me. Thanks ahead of time for your responses!
