All of the tenants except Mr. Baumgardner and she intends on installing deadbolts.

Please advise which is a correct option??

Plz comment on my approach:

1. Slip 2/3 approach on 'intend'. Intend to do sth/ doing sth , just like propose doing sth. Therefore, (A), (B) are wrong
2. All of the tenants except Mr. Baumgardner and she , not All of the tenants except Mr. Baumgardner and she intends. Thus, 'she' is correct. For instant, I and you, he and she, I and she not, I and her .blah. blah

My answer is (E)

the subject is plural ... hence the correct verb would be "intend"
a,b,c ELIMINATED


"She intends to install deadbolts."
"She" is the subject and "intends" is the verb


"Her intend is _______"
here, "her intend" would be the the subject

You cannot say "Mr. Baumgardner and she" who is she??

POE choose "her"

Then they are going to install something so "to install" and intend as it is plural, intends singular, but I could be wrong on that part.
