Hello,

I am taking my GMAT in this week. Can anyone please tell me whether it is mandatory to select the 5 schools at the time of the test or i can leave it and then do it later after i am done with my research for B schools ?

You can probably find the answer to this in the GMAT official website. I think you can leave it blank and send the score later, but it will cost you more...

As far as I understand, you have to do it then. It's also tough because you have to choose before you even know your score
