Query on five schools to be chosen on exam day.

Hi All,

I am sure I am not the first one to get this confusion, but wanted to have some information from some experts (or even fellow candidates) around here. If I am giving the exam in the middle of a calendar year and I choose 5 schools before the exam starts to whom my scores will be reported, can I also select for which session I want the score to be reported? How does this work? Say, I am giving my exam in Jun 2012 and I want to apply for Fall 2013, how will this work out ? The scores go to the schools I choose and I can apply assuming that my score is still with them in Fall 2013 ?

Would be great if someone can help make this scenario clear to me !

Karan,

Unlike the MBA applications that you submit for a specific intake, your GMAT score isn't for a particular application round or year.

In your specific case, you could take the GMAT in June 2012 and apply for Fall 2013.
