Number of ways of selecting 3 senior officers from 6 senior officers = 6C3 = 6!/(3! * 3!) = (6 * 5 * 4)/(3 * 2 * 1) = 20
Number of ways of selecting 1 junior officer from 4 junior officers = 4C1 = 4!/(1! * 3!) = 4

Therefore, required number of committees = 20 * 4 = 80

The correct answer is D.
