Need a 600! Taking the last available test in May.

I need to score around a 600. I finished the entire Manhattan basic math book for fundamentals, because I knew it would be a weakness in January. Now I'm starting to study for the actual test and I've been working through the OG for most of February. I'm really looking for an overall strategy guide book, and a top five book suggestion for a person who needs to get their quant up?

Hi there,

For Quant, you need to hit three areas: 1) content, 2) strategy, and 3) pacing. So, as you study I'd constantly be looking to answer these questions:

- where are my weakest areas and how can I systematically improve them?
- what is my step-by-step approach for DS and PS questions? how can I be more methodical/systematic and make better use of my scratch pad?
- what is my pacing strategy for the entire Quant section?

The OG is definitely necessary. For supplemental books for Quant, you may want the OG Quant guide, and I'd look into Kaplan's Math book overview, as well as MGMAT Number Prop.

Grockit's custom Quant games, GMATClub's Mathbook, and PurpleMath are also very useful for more focused study.
