okey its tricky one...
first you see the second clause....not underlined one ...you can see that it starts with AND THAT...so you are sure somewhere in the underlined part THAT should be used.

Now if you try to get the menaing and put the parallelism in place, you can see, if we use THAT just after ROBE, then it doesn't sound good and the second clause doesn't make sense with ROBE as subject.

Now you have very little option...but to use INDICATE THAT...
