Given the emphasis on diversity that admissions offices (especially at top universities) have put on their incoming student bodies, I was just wondering, how diverse are the admissions offices themselves?
For example, I would imagine that a diverse admissions office might be better suited to promoting a more diverse student body than a staff of all white males, or all Hispanic females, or any other skewed demographic.
So I was wondering if anybody knew whether admissions offices themselves strive to be the same diverse body that they would like their incoming student bodies to be.
