Hey, this is a sad story i guess!! i've taken the gmat so far 5 times and all i need is a 550. i've studied from Kaplan, OG& done around 8 different exams at home from both kaplan the gmat prep and scored between late 500's to 600. this was the most efficient time i prepared for thr gmat and i took the exam yesterday and scored 480! (34 Quantitative, 22 Verbal). below is my scores for the 4 previous exams to see the pattern:.
V:27, Q:17
V:23, Q:35
V:25, Q:28
V:15, Q:32

I though i would join the gmat club since i don't know what else i could do, i feel like i've done sufficient studying to get the 550!! i mean am not aiming fot the 700s!

thank you

You should not try to just shoot for a specific number. B-Schools don't have hard and fast rules for GMAT scores. Try to aim higher.

How look did you wait between taking these tests? It looks like your scores can be very loopsided. Maybe you are focusing too hard on one section and don't have the energy for the other?

Just some thoughts. Good luck!

reeka,

I would suggest that u buy all the manhattan gmat books immediately. Go through every book and every concept well. I am confident that you will achieve 550 without much of a problem.

Apart from Manhattan GMAT you could also consider getting:

1. Powerscore CR Bible
2. MOdule 5 for RC

This should be enough.
