Hi all,
Which Wharton major(s) should one consider for a Technology Management (short term) / CIO (long term) position?
I saw on here https://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandr ... s-rankings that Wharton is ranked as #6 in Information Systems, yet here https://www.wharton.upenn.edu/mba/academics/majors.cfm I don't see any technology based majors.
The applicable majors I think might be:
Operations and Information Management as both operations and information management are relevant to CIOs.
Information: Strategy and Economics as both strategic advantages and business intelligence are vital to CIOs.
Are these the only relevant majors for a future CIO?
Does anyone know if combining both of these majors is advisable for a future CIO?
Thank you,
--Rishi
