Extracurricular Activities Post College

by seattle2012 » Sat Dec 10, 2011 11:31 pm
Hello,

If an application asks for Extracurricular Activities and Business/Professional Organizations Since College/University, what exactly should I include? If I am doing something at my office outside of my normal job function (for example organizing a company-wide fitness event) should I put this here? Or is this category just for activities outside of the workplace completely.

Thanks for any advice you can give on this!

I would include that in the extracurriculars section. As long as you can talk to it and it is indeed very different from what your "normal" job function would be. That is definitely extracurricular.
My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.

I plan on putting something similar on my applications. I say go ahead and put that in.
