Seek advice on Schools known for Marketing programs

Profile Glimpse :

GMAT Score : 730 (taken recently)
Qualification : Mechanical Engineer
Work Ex : 3+ years in Automobile industry

I seek admit in B-schools that are known for marketing specialisation.I had Asian schools in mind but it seems they are known more for their finance spec.Please advice.
Also, i have just started my research on B-Schools and the approaching R1 deadlines of B-schools is freaking me out.I do not want to select my target pool and apply in haste.I would rather wait for another year and apply as a fresh applicant but then my GMAT score would be more than a year old.Will it make a difference?

Expert advice would be highly appreciated.

Your gmat score is valid for 5 years so take your time and don't make a wrong decision due to lack of time.

INSEAD is very strong in marketing too. Especially in Luxury Goods (Paris, you know)

Actually,its not the validity of score but the probable changes in GMAT next year that concerns me.Would that have any effect on my application next year.

Hey there! Any changes to the GMAT would have no effect on your prior score. If you retake the GMAT and the GMAT has changed, then the AdCom would just convert your old score to the new scale or the new score to the old scale for the purposes of comparison. As FutureWorks said, your score is valid for 5 years, so you don't really need to worry about your score becoming "stale" by waiting a year to apply. As long as the score is valid, that's fine with the Admissions Committee.

Adding to what Kaneisha advised: The changes to the GMAT wouldn't have any impact on your existing score. The adcom will convert your previous scores to the new dimensions/scale/level or new GMAT format/ dimensions/scale/level to the old score format to evaluate your scores. So if you have scored well previously you should worry about the new format at all � 730 is a good score so focuss on other aspects of your profile now.
