Hello:
Thanks for all the excellent posts.
I'm taking GMAT in a week and have already done most of the exercises in PR Book and the PP software.
One thing I noticed in PR book was that in the Math Bin, most of their solution seem to talk about Plugging in Answers rather than using formula (even for those that looked like a direct formula problem). I didn't like this technique since it steers you away from using mathematics and leads you to a guessing game. Thoughts?
Do you guys think that the Barron's GMAT book is worth the time. I noticed they had 5 sample tests with explaination that looked ok to take on during the final week.
Thanks in advance.
SR.
Barron's GMAT Practice Test

I had a look at it and felt that it was no good. Its questions do not closely resemble GMAT questions.
Do you have the official GMAT guide. It uses mathematical explanations, even when plugging in or backsolving would be better and quicker.
I would stay clear of Barron's. The general consensus appears to be that it is not very useful.
Maybe try Kaplan.
