GMAT Prep Test 1 Q2

Hi all,
This is my first post.
Have a couple of GMAT Prep problems, I tried to find these questions in the forum but could not found so therefore i am posting them.

Moderators, If you think this questions have been posted earlier, kindly provide me the links.

I would be thankful if anyone could provide me a good explaination to these questions.

You might want to focus here on the “finite” section of the question, meaning the solution set has a beginning and end.

A. Anything greater than 1 (or less than -1). Not finite.
B. Anything less than 3.
C. Anything greater than 4 (or less than -4). Not finite.

So that leaves D and E.

D. 2 through 5 or -5 through -2. Two distinct line segments.
E. -2/3 through 2/3.

It’s E. You could have gone the other way and eliminated all the options that had two distinct sets of solutions, the recommendation would be that you focus on one "disqualifier" and knock those out first, rather than trying to figure out which one answer satisfies both conditions.
