You did well with Quant :)

Is it possible for you to retake? Also, 3 internships seem to be a bit on the light side in terms of work experience. With a higher GMAT score it might be possible to offset your lack of work ex somewhat, but I think you would do well with more work experience and improve your GMAT score as much as possible.

Of course, I'm no expert with admission, especially with the schools you mentioned. I am curious as to what they think about the schools you are applying for.

Good luck!!

I have scored 45-49 in quant most of the time. it was verbal that screwed me up

I am applying into MSc because they dont look into work exp. MBA is not for me at this moment at least ! I have a job as back up when i graduate, so in that regards i am assured but really want to study right now 'cos i feel after working i wont be able to put in those extra hours!

I see, in that case I think this is a good move since the day will definitely seem to get shorter once you started working full time. With your proficiency in Quant it would be a waste if you decided not to pursue a better score in GMAT... especially knowing that you've already conqured half the battle in Quant and only need to work on the other half in Verbal :)

All the best for you!

To be Honest i dont know what i did wrong in verbal. of the 2 i thought my verbal went better ( well, until i saw the score). So i am thinking of applying with this score only and if i dont get in, i will work for three years and then give gmat ( in mean time work on daily solving the problems people put up on BTG)

I have the same experience with testing: everytime when I feel confident about a test, I ended up doing horribly. When I feel horrible about a test, I often ended up with a great score :)

Some people advertise that feeling good and confident before taking the GMAT test is helpful, the opposite is true for me: I need to feel unsure about the test. I think a possible explanation for this is because if I don't feel too certain or confident about my answer, I would review the question and ended up correcting a mistake whereas I tend not to do that when I am feeling confident... I'm more error prone when I feel good
